Milwaukee, WI
May 13, 1939 - 2009

Bob McCabe was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and earned a degree in accounting. In 1956 he married Sharon Faulks and in 1970 they had a son, Kevin.

The Wisconsin Classic held in Milwaukee in November of 1980, was Bob's introduction to the American Cribbage Congress. He failed to qualify but got the bug and began playing in more than ten tournaments a year. He has won twelve main tournaments and has accumulated enough master points to earn Life Master one star status. He also was named a three time All-American.

Bob was elected to the ACC Board of Directors in 1984. He served as Secretary of Statistics and as such kept the master point records of the Congress. In the late 1990's he was appointed ACC Treasurer and served in that capacity until his death in 2009. He was elected Executive Vice President of the ACC in 1992, serving in that position for 18 months.

Bob was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1990.
