Rule 2.1. Proper Mixing

The pack must be mixed at least three times with the cards face down or otherwise hidden from both players. The dealer is not permitted to look at the bottom card after the last shuffle. If the dealer should do so, pone is to remind dealer of the prohibition and score a two-point penalty. The pack shall then be reshuffled.

Rule 2.2. Pone’s Right to Shuffle Once

The pone has the right to shuffle the pack once per deal (mixing the cards one or more times).

Rule 2.3. Dealer’s Right to Shuffle Last

The dealer has the right to make the last shuffle.
